Emma’s Record

A Minnesota Where
Everyone Has a Fair Shot

Emma Greenman has built her career around one core belief: when Minnesotans show up for each other, we all rise. She’s fought to unrig systems that hold people back, from workers trying to earn a fair wage to families navigating broken healthcare systems to voters facing dark-money interference in our democracy.

Her vision for Minnesota is future-forward, people-powered, and rooted in lived experience: a state where you can build a good life, feel safe in your community, and have real power in the decisions shaping your future.

Leveling the Playing Field

A Fair Economy for Working Minnesotans

Everyone who works hard and follows the rules deserves a fair shot. Emma has taken on wealthy special interests and corporate abuse to put power back in the hands of workers and families.

What Emma’s Delivered

  • Banned junk fees: Emma banned hidden and deceptive fees that cost the average Minnesota family more than $3,000 per year. Companies are no longer allowed to use deceptive practices to rip off their customers.

  • Banned exploitative employment practices: Emma banned non-compete clauses, no-poach agreements, and shadow non-competes. These agreements hurt workers and are no longer allowed to hamstring Minnesota’s workforce.

  • Protected Worker Safety: Emma passed the Amazon Warehouse Worker Act, requiring companies to disclose quotas and workers’ speed data.

What’s Next

  • Fully fund public schools, provide universal Pre-K for all 3 and 4-year-olds, and create more full-service community schools that provide supportive services to students and families.

  • Ensure Minnesotans can pursue college or technical programs without crushing debt.

  • Increase protections for labor unions, organizing in the workplace, and the ability to collectively bargain.

  • Raise the minimum wage, increase enforcement of wage theft, and put an end to the misclassification of employees as independent contractors.

Protecting Our Freedoms & Democracy

Defending the Freedom to Vote

Our democracy is at a crossroads, and the stakes could not be higher. Democracy, and how it shows up in schools, workplaces, the economy, and our community, is being undermined by national politicians and corporate special interests seeking to divide us. Big corporations and monied interests, like the NRA and Big Tech, flood our system with dollars to advance their interests and subvert the will of the people.

Emma has spent her entire career fighting to defend and expand inclusive, people-powered democracy in Minnesota and across the country. Emma is leading the fight to unrig our democracy by expanding the power of people in our district and across Minnesota.

What Emma’s Delivered

  • Protecting The Freedom to Vote: While powerful MAGA extremists are working to dismantle democracy, I’ve led the way by championing laws that protect every Minnesotan’s freedom to vote, including:

    • Democracy for the People Act: strengthening the freedom to vote with Automatic Voter Registration, Pre-registration of 16 and 17 year olds, permanent absentee voting and combats the influence of dark money and foreign-influence corporations in our politics.

    • Minnesota Voting Rights Act: creating state-level protections against racial discrimination, voter suppression, and racial gerrymandering.

  • Election Worker Protection Act: safeguarding free and fair elections in Minnesota by outlawing intimidation, harassment, and interference with election officials, and interference with election administration and unlawfully accessing voter registration systems and election equipment.

What’s Next

  • Get dark money and corporate spending out of our elections.

  • Protect the constitutional freedoms of Minnesotans from Trump and his out-of-control federal regime.

  • Prohibit gerrymandering by ensuring independent redistricting.
